Yeah well, this has to be said, even though it's just kara...
Before a paladin/warrior enters as tank, they should have an unbuffed armor and health on approx 13k/13k for the first bosses/OT, while a MT should reach slightly higher. Uncrushability is a must for paladins/warriors, while druids are fine with an armor above 20k and unbuffed health 14.5k. Along those guidelines, threat capability should follow... We've got a few crazy damage dealers and we simply can't send someone without the gear to hold aggro from them to tank. We also cannot give the healers much more responsibility as they already have alot of that, with our playstyle...
As for DPS, any DPS above 500 is fine, but raid total DPS should exceed 3k on pure boss encounters. Also, raid average health should be around 8k buffed. It is okay to bring one or another raid member slightly below this requirement, but in that case the member can be expected to bring health pots/nightmare seeds/protection potions, to assure his/her own survival.
For healers... If you know you're below average geared for HPS/Efficiency/regen, make sure to bring the right consumables. Healers get the best benefits from consumables, so gogo get them.
I'm writing this because it had to be said at some point and while i think any raid situation can be handled with live talking and tacticing, there's nothing better than a well prepared raid. Stable, smooth raiding is tasty <3.
Uhm... Bai!
